Cat & Home Sitter Needed in Eindhoven – Dec 3, 2026 to Jan 10, 2027

Hi! We are Ramen and Ragnar, two little cats who were adopted two years ago by Lucía and Álvaro, a Spanish couple in their thirties. 🐱🐱 Our humans are going on their honeymoon from December 3rd, 2026, to January 10th, 2027, and unfortunately, they can’t take us along on their adventure around Australia. That’s why they are looking for someone who can give us the same love and care that we receive from them every day. We currently live in a small apartment in Eindhoven, very close to Strijp-S, a lively area that is very well connected and has plenty of amenities nearby. Our humans could also lend you their bikes so you can get around the city comfortably. 🚲 We know that December and early January can be a difficult time because of Christmas and New Year’s celebrations, but if you have always dreamed of spending New Year’s Eve in one of the most vibrant cities in the Netherlands, this could be your opportunity! The feeder, water fountain, and litter box are all automatic, so the daily maintenance is quite limited. However, they should be checked every day to make sure they are working properly. You will also need to clean the bowls where the food and water are dispensed and refill their reservoirs when necessary, ensuring they are always full. This setup gives you plenty of flexibility and allows you to be away from home for several hours, or even for a full weekend if you would like to spend time exploring another city in the Netherlands. Regarding the litter box, the waste container bag will need to be emptied every 3–4 days, and clean litter should be added when necessary. Every couple of days, they should be given some wet food. Ramen especially loves having his fur brushed, while Ragnar enjoys playing fetch and would be more than happy for you to throw his toys so he can bring them back to you! We have prepared some documents with instructions for all of these devices, so you won’t need to memorise how everything works. The cats play a lot with each other, but they also love having some attention! They enjoy being stroked, getting some scratches, and receiving affection whenever they come close to you. 🐱🐱 We would also really appreciate receiving photos of our little ones regularly, or being able to answer any questions you may have about how to make your stay in Eindhoven or in our home as enjoyable and memorable as possible. Our home is a small but cosy apartment with one bedroom, making it ideal for a couple, as well as a large patio. The building also has shared laundry facilities, a sauna, and a gym. There is also a supermarket less than 500 metres away, so you will have everything you need nearby! 🏡🚲
