Hi! I’m Maya. I’m 19 and from Australia, hoping to travel to the Netherlands in early 2026. I have been caring for dogs and cats since before I can remember and have grown up around them, and I really love being around them. I’m planning on studying in the Netherlands sometime in the future, so as part of my gap year between high school and university I want to see how living there for a while will be for me, and if I would enjoy it, so I’m looking for a place to stay and care for for around a month or longer. I don’t drink or smoke, I know how to clean and keep things tidy very well, and I often spend my afternoons reading, writing or doing some other quiet activity, so there should be no problem with any animals that are anxious.
